Today is the annual Chinese Speech Contest. This year is at Lowell High in S. W. S.F. Last time I was there, I walking around the Mercedes Lake so this time I walked in the opposite direction to the Macy's and the Stonestown Galleria Mall. It seems all the malls in this country are designed the same way, so being in it reminded me of the malls I had been to in Houston, Fredericton etc.

Met Jin Feng who was there as judge. I do not like to be judge. I tutor one student on her speech and that's it. I have free time to go sightseeing.

Besides, Judge not lest you be judged, ha ha.

Opposite the mall is the Mercedes branch of the city public library. I am now here to write this blog. there is no Chinese input.

The library has a nice little collection of Chinese novels, about one one-person-tall bookshelf. Much enviable compared with the few books at the Monterey Public Library.

Express internet access of 15 minutes allows you to use internet without a card and there are not many people using so you can restart the session.
