城市的街心
穆旦

大街伸延着像乐曲的五线谱，
人的符号，车的符号，房子的符号
密密排列着在我的心上流过去，
起伏的欲望呵，唱一串什么曲调？——
不管我是悲哀，不管你是欢乐，
也不管谁明天再也不会走来了，
它只唱着超时间的冷漠的歌，
从早晨的匆忙，到午夜的寂寥，
一年又一年，使人生底过客
感到自己的心比街心更老。
只除了有时候，在雷电的闪射下
我见它对我发出抗议的大笑。

The street extends, a musical staff with notes
Of people, cars and many a building
They flow through my heart in great density
Undulating desires, what are they playing?

Whether I am sad, or you are happy,
No matter who never comes tomorrow,
It sings timeless songs indifferently
From busy morning to a night hollow

Year after year, they make the walkers in life
Feel their hearts are older than the street
Except sometimes, under glaring lightening
I see it laughs loudly at me, in protest
